What is Emerging Leaders?

Our goal is to empower each other--young adults and college students--to create a positive social and intellectual climate for marriage. We are doing this by providing education and resources for each other, creating a sense of community in our age group and with professionals that advocate marriage, and inspiring each other to be involved in the marriage movement.

Students for the Family Gets Conference Rolling

Students for the Family, a volunteer organization run by students and young professionals, recently successfully completed a fund raising campaign to fund a large regional conference in October. With the help of an online donations platform, over 40 students helped to solicit small donations from almost 400 donors, to reach a goal of $8000. Congratulations to SFTF for all their hard work! Join Emerging Leaders

The Ruth Institute is interested in finding young adults and student leaders--such as you--who are making a difference on their campus and in their communities, and put the resources of the Ruth Institute at your disposal. The Ruth Institute is doing this through the Emerging Leaders program. Emerging Leaders itself is an organization within the Ruth Institute run by and geared towards students and young professionals.

Joining Emerging Leaders helps you to connect with like-minded people of our age group as well as leaders in the marriage movement who are known and respected in many circles. It also gives you greater access to to the resources of the Ruth Institute, such as access to the speakers that could be brought to a campus near you or funding to help run a pro-marriage project associated with your group. Joining Emerging Leaders also provides opportunities for internships and mentorships from the Ruth Institute staff, affiliated faculty and professionals.
